Lee is a native of Cocoa Beach, Florida and provides unique insight on the area with her local knowledge and historical information. She attended Freedom 7, Our Saviour and Cocoa Beach High School before graduating from The Florida State University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Upon graduation she moved to Winter Park to work for The Travelers Insurance Company in downtown Orlando to be a workers’ compensation underwriter. Then it was off to South Florida to continue in the insurance profession as a financial auditor traveling throughout our great nation to audit insurance carriers. Then for 8 years she worked in sales and marketing for a variety of industries carrying a variety of responsibilities including proposal writing, attending trade shows and delivering presentations to high-level executives as well as conferences.

Some of the places she has traveled for either work or pleasure are the Netherlands, Costa Rica, England, Belize, Hawaii, New York, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Texas, Oregon, California, North Carolina, Idaho, Tennessee, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Washington D.C, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado and New Mexico.

Lee enjoys spending time with her 3 children and watching them in their activities. She also loves tennis, golfing, beachcombing, jogging and riding bikes around town with her husband and children.

Lee has always been active in the communities she has lived.  Most recently she served on the Parish Council at Our Saviour Church from 2011-2014 and volunteers numerous hours at Freedom 7 Elementary.  Past volunteerism in Tallahassee (Soup Kitchen, Student Tutor, VP of FSU Ballroom Dance Club), in South Florida (Covenant House, Board Member raising 200K), in Cocoa Beach (Our Saviour School Chess Club Coordinator and Golf Tournament Coordinator for 6 years).
